Retrospective : A Year On …part four
Let’s talk about our Lockdown Memories.
I have come to love working from home … not ten yards from the bedroom to my makeshift office, no more commute nor scrambling for an office wear every morning. We finally made full use of our coffee machine too and the most important benefit, we can to greet each other more regularly.
Having said all that, this was a novel experience to begin with.
The first three months we encountered a series of huge adjustments – ranging from creating the most optimal co-working space, to adapting our connections with work colleagues remotely every morning, adjusting to 24/7 together - beyond the annual three weeks holidays we ever spent in each other’s company, to me, lapping up fine dining experiences at home courtesy of hubby Jazz’s culinary experiments and also having to consciously get dressed appropriately to venture out to grab that little bit of sunshine and exercise.
I truly feel these new experiences are best expressed in picture memories.
Obviously, when households social distancing restrictions permitted, we met our dearest and nearest. The joy had been exceptional and likely good for our mental health, hence we were buzzing for days.
