Continuing to break from tradition, Maggie led the procession of bridesmaids and groomsmen down the isle, accompanied by her aunt Bernadette and uncle Lloyd. She waited there for her groom to be delivered, escorted by his mother and sister, Simiy. Maggie savoured the sight of her groom’s isle walk just as she’d envisioned.
Officiated by a close family friend, vows were exchanged witnessed and supported by all the guests. Emotions and nerves were running high, but we made it through, with laughter and sincerity in equal measure.
